I'm traveling to India in August

So, I've decided to take a trip to India as a graduation gift to myself. The photo here is of me on graduation day trying to immitate a dance from the movie Monsoon Wedding. :) I leave for this incredible exploration August 21st and I return November 19th or thereabouts. I have applied to a retreat center and have been accepted. It is in Mumbai and is a 10-day retreat. I'm not certain that I will attend the retreat yet, but it is an option. There are so many places to visit, and I still have a lot of reading to do before I fly out there. I'm currently reading The Lonely Planet Guide to India, Traveler's Tales India, Culture Smart! India, and eventually will start on Nectar in a Sieve.

I'm interested in visiting where the Buddha reached enlightenment in Bodgaya, I'd like to visit Pondicherry, I fly into Chennai, I may stop in Delhi and then stay a while in Dharamsala. I was reading a story yesterday about Goa and tengo ganas para ir alla tambien.

I'm working on getting my visa and learning more about the monsoon as the annual monsoon will direct my travel...where it is-I will not be.

I'm looking forward to piecing my trip together, mapping it out.. and I am open to the universe's plan and will allow things to unfold naturally.

Blessings!
